Christ's Example

Christ felt all of the unrighteousness and contradictions of sinners. Isaiah called Him "a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief" (Isaiah 53:3). He did not evade His mission, nor did He turn aside from His path of duty. He endured the unrighteousness and contradictions of sinners patiently and He bore the shame and dishonor that was heaped on Him. He never once retaliated or spoke evil against those who abused and mistreated Him. As they crucified Him, He prayed for their forgiveness. He endured. He did not hesitate, or second guess. He fulfilled His divine mission. We are called as followers of Christ to do no less.
