For His anger Endureth but a moment; in His Favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy Cometh in the morning. (Ps 30:5)
You may in this very moment be weeping or even mourning over the troubles in your life.
Yet, Know this Promise that your weeping will last only for a night. Which means the smallest portion of your day or the smallest portion of a moment. Once your JOY is restored, your times of weeping and despair will, in reality, be that smallest of a moment.
Your trouble, your concern, your worry, your despair can be seen and perceived at times as overwhelming burdens. But in light of the JOY of eternity, these sufferings are INSIGNIFICANT. I use the pronoun these instead of the determiner, yours, for the reason that the feeling don't necessarily have to belong to you.
What i'm simply saying is they are affecting you, yes this is true, however, you have a choice whether or not to own them. If you own them they become yours and you suffer; if you give them to God, who asks for them, they become owned by God, and you no longer have to be affected by them.
So, if you keep your mind set on Eternity you will have no desire to own what doesn't have to belong to you and your joy will be restored in that very same small insignificant moment of time. You won't have to wait at all.
Praise the Lord!
